"To provide fair and sustainable hosting, accessible to all."
Hi! I'm Tobi. I started Invotek after a poor experience with another hosting service, where my files were deleted at random and support wasn't a concept.
Our plan is to do the exact opposite. Since day one, these have been our highest priorities:
We gladly publish all of our income and spending (check Transparency link at the bottom of this page). You're welcome to review and criticise it as much as you want - we are entirely open to feedback.
You will know about changes we make during your service, no matter how minor it might be. Guaranteed. Good decisions are only made with the involvement of everyone.
If you don't want to be involved, that's fine! If you do, you have all the means to do so. My personal email for complaints or feedback is available via "Contact us" at the bottom of this page.
Having a neat personal website shouldn't come at the cost of the environment.
Right now, our current focus is to reduce our carbon intensity (that's how much carbon we produce relative to our income), and reduce the waste from buying products, or after they've been used.
Unfortunately, we still produce some emissions. We're donating at least 5% of our revenue to Woodland Trust for carbon offsetting, even after we reach zero emissions.
Just like our finances, our sustainability is available via the Transparency link at the bottom of this page for you to review and criticise.
I feel like the words "business," "company," etc., have all been tarnished. Making a profit (...or a loss in our case) does not have to mean actively screwing over the customer.
All of our decisions have been made with you in mind. We include environmental, community, and customer representation whenever we're doing anything that could affect anyone, to any degree.
We don't turn away from feedback or criticism - whether it's the wording on one of our pages, or a fundamental flaw with our services, every bit of feedback helps us improve.
You're absolutely welcome to hand feedback/criticism directly to my personal email, via "Contact us" at the bottom of this page.
